Direct answer: Find both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion, then choose the secret medallion at the Grand Lift of Rold. The right half is in the Village of the Albinaurics; the left half is in Castle Sol after Commander Niall.
Get the right half in Liurnia
- Reach the Village of the Albinaurics beneath the cliffs in southwest Liurnia.
- Climb the slope past the hostile Albinaurics to the stone coffin beside the village path.
- Strike the large pot nearby; it is Albus in disguise.
- Speak with Albus and accept the right half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.
Get the left half in Castle Sol
- Progress through the main game until you reach the Mountaintops of the Giants.
- Travel to Castle Sol in the northern Mountaintops and defeat Commander Niall.
- Use the lift beyond the boss arena and take the left half from the chest at the top.
Use the secret medallion
- Return to the Grand Lift of Rold.
- Use the on-screen control to switch the prompt to “Hoist secret medallion.”
- Ride the lift to the Hidden Path to the Haligtree and exit through the northwestern doorway to the Snowfield.
Common wrong turns
The regular Rold Medallion and the secret Haligtree medallion lead to different destinations. If you reach the Mountaintops again, switch the lift prompt rather than using the ordinary medallion. Ordina, Liturgical Town is the gateway to the Haligtree; Mohgwyn Palace’s sending gate is farther west in the Snowfield.
