Direct answer: After reaching the Mountaintops through the Grand Lift of Rold, travel from Zamor Ruins toward the frozen lake, then follow the southern route through Giants’ Gravepost to Flame Peak and the Forge of the Giants.
Route across the Mountaintops
- From Zamor Ruins, follow the main path north and activate Ancient Snow Valley Ruins.
- Continue east toward the frozen lake. The route around the lake leads toward the First Church of Marika and the eastern mountains.
- Follow the southern ascent to Giants’ Gravepost and activate the grace.
- Cross the ridge toward Foot of the Forge, then enter the Fire Giant arena.
- Defeat the Fire Giant and climb the chain to reach the Forge of the Giants.
Common wrong turns
Castle Sol and the Consecrated Snowfield are optional branches; the main story path continues east to Flame Peak. The Fire Giant is the required boss before using the Forge. Rest at the Forge grace and consider optional quests before proceeding, because the next story sequence advances the world.
