Direct answer: From Leyndell’s Avenue Balcony Site of Grace, descend to the main street and look for the open well in the lower district. Climb down to enter the sewers and reach the Underground Roadside Site of Grace.
Route from Avenue Balcony
- Rest at Avenue Balcony and go down the stairs to the street below.
- Move through the lower avenue toward the open section of the city where the street is broken and the well is exposed. Avoid the Erdtree Avatar and nearby enemies if you want a direct route.
- Climb down the well’s ladder into the sewer entrance.
- Follow the first tunnels and drop into the lower passage. The Underground Roadside grace is in a side room near the start; activate it before exploring.
Navigate the sewer maze
From Underground Roadside, pipes, ladders, and drop-downs form a loop-heavy maze. Mark the grace whenever you reach a new level. The route to Mohg, the Omen leads through the lower tunnels to the Cathedral of the Forsaken. After defeating Mohg, the altar at the back opens only after Morgott has been defeated in the capital above.
Important warning
The passage beyond the Cathedral leads to the Frenzied Flame Proscription and the Three Fingers. Entering the sealed chamber changes your character’s ending path unless you later reverse it through a difficult quest. Remove every piece of equipment to open the Three Fingers’ door. This is optional; the sewers are not required for the main ending.
