Direct answer: From Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus, descend into the ravine beneath the ruins and follow the lower cave-and-river route west into Rauh Base.
Find the lower route
- Start at the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace and explore the collapsed structures for the large opening that descends below the plateau.
- Drop through the ruined passages to the lower ravine. Continue through the cave rather than climbing back to the surface road.
- Follow the river channel west through the ravine and activate the Rauh Base grace when you reach it.
- Continue toward Temple Town Ruins and search for the Rauh Base map fragment before taking lifts toward the upper ruins.
Rauh Base vs. Ancient Ruins of Rauh
Rauh Base is the lower region beneath the elevated Ancient Ruins. Its river, caves, and Temple Town routes are not the same as the upper plateau’s bridges and Church of the Bud. Use the lifts and connecting paths to reach the upper region.
Common wrong turns
Following the main Scadu Altus road west will not put you in Rauh Base. The entrance is a descent through Moorth’s collapsed buildings. If you emerge at a high ruin bridge, you have reached the upper ruins instead.
